This block of instruction will provide the most up to date intelligence on Mexican trafficking organizations and the surge of violence on our borders.

Further, an overview of the organizational structure of Mexican drug trafficking groups, identifying methods of operation, drug routes, cartel training facilities, enforcers, and the Mexican government strategy to deconstruct these organizations will be offered. We will conduct a close examination of the historical relevance of organized crime in Mexico to the criminal activities of these trafficking organizations.
Funding Terrorism through Narcotics
International and domestic funding of terrorism through narcotics trafficking will be closely examined.
Afghanistan
Our fight begins with our local, state and federal law enforcement officers, in identifying and dismantling terrorist sleeper cells living among us. Most of these covert operations are partially supported by the proceeds derived from the sale of narcotics and other illegal crimes. This presentation will identify the flow of monies into these domestic terrorist organizations and offer methods of detection.
The course also gives officers the basic knowledge to identify sleeper cells funding terrorism through narcotics and other crimes, and in addition survive and defeat a suicide bombing in-progress, to include engagement criteria and the use of deadly force.
Mexican Traffickers & the Spiritual World
“Patron Saints of the Underworld” Drug traffickers, Human Smugglers, and others involve the spiritual world in their trade for protection from law enforcement and other criminal organizations. The course will include information on Jesus Malverde, “Patron Saint of Drug Traffickers”, and other “saints” or “spirits” that drug traffickers and others pray to for protection from law enforcement. The Instructor has visited several of their “shrines” and will display photos and video as well as paraphernalia that drug traffickers may have in their possession. This course is beneficial to law enforcement officers in all parts of the country who may encounter these items during or pursuant to an investigation. Several significant drug and money seizures throughout the country have been attributed to this course.

Improvised Explosive Devices
The Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) recognition class is an 8-hour program. Primarily didactic in nature, the course contains open-source footage and illustrations of various IEDs and their components. The evolution of IEDs from the “primitive” to the “contemporary” will be compared. Current day examples of circuit components and detonation devices will be examined.
Raves & Club Drugs
Ecstasy and club drug abuse continues to be a serious problem for many communities here and around the world. Learn the effects and signs of ecstasy use as well as the greatest dangers associated with the use of club drugs. We will go to a rave and witness ecstasy use and over doses by young people in involved in the Ecstasy culture. See the different abuse patterns and signs of potential deadly over doses and how to respond.
Narcotics Instruction for Medical Staff
This four to eight hour course of instruction is intended for Emergency room staff, Treating Doctors, nurses and Emergency response personnel. The presentation includes the description and effects on the body of various illegal drugs and legal medications. Methamphetamine use and dangers associated with exposure to contaminated patients and visitors. How to protect yourself and staff from serious injury and potential liability will be discussed. Various drugs will be discussed and the common use and abuse methods and trends. The training will enable participants to demonstrate knowledge and skills to understand the most common signs of drug abuse and the dangers associated with illegal drug use. Training materials will be provided to each student along with follow up contact information with experienced training staff.
Narcotics Training for School Staff
Narcotics Training for School staff, resource officers, substance abuse treatment personal, Community Trainers and parents. This four to eight hour course will include the effects and use of the most abused drugs by students. Focus on Methamphetamine use and manufacturing will be discussed and commonly used paraphernalia shown. Anti-drug education is critical for schools and communities to be proactive against drug abuse. Marijuana use and current trends will be discussed as well as information on health related issues. Ecstasy and poly drug use will be discussed and rave activities displayed. This course is for personnel involved with students between the ages of 11-18 years of age. A drug training book will be supplied to each student.
Hidden Compartments in Commercial Motor Vehicles
The United States has several major drug corridors, and many large seaports through which large amounts of commodities transit from all parts of the world. This produces a large amount of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) traffic. Law enforcement officers throughout the United States receive little or no training on commercial motor vehicles. This class will provide the skills necessary to conduct successful CMV interdiction. This class will also show Officers how to find contraband in natural voids of commercial vehicles, as well as constructed compartments. Commercial motor vehicle criminal indicators will be covered to show Officers what to look for when making a traffic stop. An overview of the trucking industry will be covered to build a platform on whether a truck driver or companies are doing legitimate operations.
